About Fire Dance Academy
Fire Dance Academy LLC was founded in 2016 in Austin Texas. It began as a Non-Profit business that offered Liturgical dance performances and workshops to local venues for special events. The founder Pastor DeWeylla Malone discovered a growing and very active liturgical dance community in parts of central Texas that needed to be nurtured. In September of 2017 Fire Dance became an LLC offering a safe environment for individuals and teams to expand their knowledge of the worship arts and enjoy being with other dancers of like interest. The Team has since traveled to several cities in the central Texas area to bring the spirit of praise and inspiration to the community. Venues such as: Churches, Rehabilitation Centers, Weddings, College Ball Games, and More.
The academy offers liturgical dance classes at an affordable cost, ministry performances, workshops, and outreach to the community. Since the launch, the academy has expanded virtually to equip dancers worldwide.

About The Founder
DeWeylla Malone
Pastor DeWeylla Malone, author of ‘Made to Dance’ and ‘War Dance,’ has over 20 years of experience in liturgical dance. Her love for the worship arts
started at a young age, in a small town in Louisiana. Decades later, it has taken Pastor DeWeylla across the U.S.
Her dance credits include T.E.N. Certification with The Eagles Network; she received her license to minister and teach dance from G.O.L.D. Praise Dance
School of Ministry, where she currently serves as lead choreographer.
Pastor DeWeylla is a former member of the Full Gospel International Dance & Mime Troupe; there, she had the privilege of ministering with many anointed Gospel Artists. Residing in the Austin, Texas area, Pastor DeWeylla is the owner and director of Fire Dance Academy, L.L.C. She dedicates her gifts to presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ through dance worldwide.
